開車時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)故障燈亮起，發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)怠速不穩(wěn)、動(dòng)力不足，油耗升高，排氣有突突聲，排氣管冒黑煙并伴有嗆鼻的味道時(shí)，可以用故障診斷儀檢測一下電壓。將電壓表并聯(lián)在氧傳感器輸出端，正常情況下是在0.1-1伏之間不斷變化，如果在0.4-0.5之間不動(dòng)，說明氧傳感器損壞。一般來說，車輛每用3萬公里就要對(duì)氧傳感器進(jìn)行一次檢修，如果傳感器出現(xiàn)老化要立即清洗或者更換新的傳感器，否則會(huì)影響發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)性能和三元催化裝置的正常工作。

汽車水溫傳感器如果出現(xiàn)故障，冷車啟動(dòng)的時(shí)候就會(huì)有些困難，甚至沒辦法啟動(dòng)，嚴(yán)重的還會(huì)導(dǎo)致發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)溫度過高，甚至開鍋、加速無力、排氣冒黑煙等現(xiàn)象。不過現(xiàn)在的汽車一般都具有完善的保護(hù)機(jī)制，當(dāng)發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)ECM（發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)控制模塊）檢測到水溫傳感器故障時(shí)，會(huì)自動(dòng)進(jìn)入故障保護(hù)模式，然后按照預(yù)設(shè)參數(shù)啟動(dòng)風(fēng)扇，同時(shí)點(diǎn)亮故障燈。
